Yuri's Night at UTA Planetarium

Planetarium show "Dawn of the Space Age" celebrating human spaceflight. April 12 (1961) is the date Yuri Gagarin became the first man to enter Space. The first space shuttle flew on April 12, 1981. April 12 is now celebrated worldwide as Yuri's Night World Space Party, an international celebration held every April 12 to commemorate milestones in space exploration. We are planning to watch a planetarium show called the "Dawn of the Space Age", which gives an immersive experience of a very accurate historic reconstruction of mankind's first steps into space, at UTA's very own full dome theater.
There's also a brief "Texas Stargazing" show right before the "Dawn of the Space Age" show. You will simply love it!
Note: Some proceeds from the tickets sold will go to SEDS-UTA's campus accounts.
