UTA Music Clarinet Day

Please join us for Clarinet Day! This FREE event will host multiple artist-level clarinet recitals throughout the day including WoodWired Duo, Dr. Jeff O’Flynn, Dr. Michael Scheuerman, and members of the UTA clarinet studio.

There will be performance masterclasses and clarinet clinics on topics ranging from how reeds are made to how to use electronics in your music making. There will be a mass clarinet choir rehearsal and performance to which all members of the clarinet community are invited.

Then, to finish out a wonderful clarinet-filled day, our Featured Guest Artist, Kenneth Krause (Principal Clarinet of the Dallas Opera Orchestra) will give a recital at 7:30pm in Irons Recital Hall with pianist Gabriel Sanchez.

This is an event you will not want to miss, and all ages of clarinetists are welcome.

On-Campus lunch will be available for $5-$7 during the “Clarinet Social” event from 12-1pm.
