UTA Volunteers—composting
Composting is a way to return organic waste back to usable soil which is very important to recyle our limited energy in the biosphere and to prevent overfilling of landfills. John Darling runs the composting site for UTA and most of the soil you see on campus was created by his program. This even gives you an oppurtunity to help John with his work as well learn how to compost.
