This session will be presented by Donna Mack. We’ll discuss common barriers experienced by people with disabilities when navigating online and effective strategies for ensuring that OER are designed to be accessible and beneficial to all students, including blind and low-vision populations.

Donna faced vision loss at the age of 12 and is an award-winning advocate and author in the field of Disability who works with clients to successfully navigate change. She holds a Master of Education degree.

This session is a component of the OER training program for UTA CARES grantees. The sessions are open to anyone in the UTA community, and an RSVP is not required.
