CRCJ Week: The Role of Forensic Anthropology in Medicolegal Death Investigations
Dr. Christian Crowder, the forensic anthropologist at the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office, is an experienced forensic anthropologist, a specialist in pediatric forensics, and an active diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Anthropology.
Dr. Crowder has worked with the United National International Tribunal for Crimes in Kosovo and with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command Central Identification Laboratory in Hawaii. From 2006 to 2013 he was Deputy Director of Forensic Anthropology at the New York City Office of the Medical Examiner, where he was a member of the disaster response team. As part of his work on this team he managed recovery operations in and around the World Trade Center site.
