Tableau Data Prep: Cleaning & Restructuring Data for Visualizations

Data preparation is the process of cleaning dirty data, restructuring ill-formed data, and combining multiple sets of data for analysis.

It involves transforming the data structure and cleaning data values and data types. It also involves transforming data for various uses, which is a common part of creating effective visualizations. This workshop will walk you through data preparation steps in Tableau. 

Required: Please bring a computer wiith Tableau (either the Public or Desktop version) installed. A limited number of computers can be reserved by emailing dataCAVE@uta.edu.
