This is a 2-hour workshop about Data Visualization, including a hands-on tutorial on using Tableau for data analysis and visualization. An Excel dataset will be provided. The workshop will cover downloading and cleaning the dataset, pre-processing, analyzing, and visualizing the insights on Tableau. You will start from the Tableau workspace to make worksheets, common tools and techniques, and answer insight needs through making hierarchies and drill downs, calculated fields, and dashboards.

Experience with Tableau is preferred but not required. Tableau Desktop or an account on Tableau Public will be required for the hands-on part. You may make a Tableau public account here.
