Solidarity Across Borders: Immigration Policy, Deportation, and Binational Connections
The UTA Anthropology Program is pleased to announce that the 2021 Annual Termini Distinguished Anthropologist Speaker is Dr. Ruth Gomberg-Muñoz of Loyola University, author of Labor and Legality, An Ethnography of a Mexican Immigrant Network and Becoming Legal: Immigration Law and Mixed-status Families.
Dr. Gomberg-Muñoz’s talk, Solidarity Across Borders: Immigration Policy, Deportation, and Binational Connections, will be shown live via a Zoom webinar at 7 pm (CST), Thursday, April 8, at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88139503314.
The audience may participate in a Q&A session following the talk. This talk is open to the public, students, academics, and anyone with an interest in anthropology!
