Software Carpentry Workshop

Learn the following computational tools that are useful for efficient research in this two-part workshop:

  • R for programming and data analysis/visualization
  • Linux shell for task automation/shell scripting 
  • Git and GitHub for keeping track of your projects

Everyone is welcome! No previous experience in programming is required. But, you must bring your laptop – Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux platforms will work, with the software installed.
