About this Event
702 Planetarium Pl., Arlington, TX
Join UTA Libraries data experts to learn about data tools and analysis through participatory workshops this fall. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to join and learn how to apply these tools to your research and data needs.
This workshop will introduce social network analysis through exposure to key terminology and theoretical constructs. This workshop will also provide a description and demonstration of software that can be used for the analysis and visualization of social networks. Furthermore, this workshop will share additional resources that participants can find outside the workshop to continue expanding their knowledge and expertise in the area of social network analysis.
Please note that the UTA Libraries DataCAVE is in the Central Library Basement. The space offers 8 computers with specialized software to be used in these workshops. Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop with software downloaded to ensure wider participation. Laptops can be borrowed from UTA Libraries Tech Lending if needed.
