Learn how to safely operate our DeWalt 10” blade compound miter saw. You will practice making accurate crosscuts, bevel cuts, and mitre cuts. Successful completion of the Shop Safety Orientation training and a signed liability waiver on file are required in order to participate in this training.

Space is limited; please see FabLab staff near the 3D printers as early as 10am the day of a training to receive a token to secure a spot.

At this time, only current UTA students, faculty, or staff are permitted to participate in these trainings. Please remember to dress appropriately for all other trainings (closed-toe footwear (not ballet flats), long hair tied back above shoulder height, no jewelry or dangling or loose fitting clothes).
