Space is limited; please see FabLab staff near the 3D printers as early as 10am the day of a training to receive a token to secure a spot.

At this time, only current UTA students, faculty, or staff are permitted to participate in these trainings.

Please remember to dress appropriately for all other trainings (closed-toe footwear (not ballet flats), long hair tied back above shoulder height, no jewelry or dangling or loose fitting clothes).

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

Limit 3 participants. Learn how to safety operate the ShopBot table router, which can carve materials in 2D and 3D.  Participants will practice homing the machine, changing tools, and more; after individually practicing designing a file in vCarve, participants will need to schedule a follow up appointment to learn how to execute a design and earn their certification. Successful completion of the Shop Safety Orientation training and a signed liability waiver on file are required in order to participate in this training.
