Archives are traditionally viewed as "evidence" of the past... But archives can also INSPIRE! Historical materials in Special Collections can be remixed, reused, and reimagined to create new art!

UTA Special Collections proudly presents Retro Remix, an exhibition of student art that "remixes" historical materials from Special Collections. Each student artwork is displayed next to the historical image, map, book, or object that inspired its creation. All originals in the exhibit have a QR code that links to a download page so that viewers can create their own Remixes. Submit your remix of Special Collections materials for a chance to win a prize!
