Quamon Fowler & the UTA Jazz Orchestra at the Levitt
Join us for an evening of music at Levitt Pavilion with the UTA Jazz Orchestra and special guest Quamon Fowler.
A Fort Worth native, Quamon Fowler has followed his passion for performing and teaching for more than 25 years. He’s known world-wide for his musical skills on the saxophone and the electronic wind instrument. He placed third in the 2008 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition and is an artist in residence for the School of Church Music at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth. His composition “The Reinforcement” was selected as one of the top three compositions in the first annual ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer’s Awards Competition. Quamon continues to be a trailblazer as he teaches jazz saxophone at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and online via Skype. at TeXas10erMusicAcademy.com.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Picnics, food and coolers with beverages (including alcohol) are welcome, but no glass containers, please. Concessions are sold at the pavilion, including beer and wine. Free parking all around the pavilion.
