Are you an instructor concerned about the impact of course material costs on your students? This workshop will help you explore open textbook solutions and discover how you can write a short textbook review to receive a stipend.
Textbook Costs: Learn how high costs hinder student success, with 70% of students not purchasing required materials due to cost.
Open Textbooks: Discover how these freely available, fully customizable textbooks can alleviate financial burdens for students.
What You’ll Do: After the workshop, you’ll write a short review of an open textbook from the Open Textbook Library and receive a $200 ($150+fringe) stipend for your efforts.
