Join the November UTA Wikipedia Meetup to meet other people on campus interested in Wikipedia and collaboratively create and edit an article in a casual setting.

This month, the group will be virtual meeting on Friday, November 20, from 10:00 AM -12:00 pm.

The UTA Wikipedia Meetup will be creating and publishing a new
article on Anton Roessler, an Austro-Hungarian-American cartographer who worked in Texas and New York, before, during, and after the American Civil War.
One-on-one editing assistance will be provided, but the focus of the meetup will be on collaboratively creating an article, not on learning to edit. It is highly recommended that attendees who are not yet comfortable with editing Wikipedia use the LibGuide (https://libguides.uta.edu/wikipedia) as a tutorial before the meetup.

Instructor : Michael Barera, University and Labor Archivist
Subject Specialist: Ben Huseman, Cartographic Archivist
