Interested in neutrino physics? Exploring research opportunities? The UTA Neutrino Physics and Rare Event Searches group invites graduate students, undergraduates, and any curious Mavericks to join for an afternoon of neutrinos at the beginning of the fall semester.

Tentative Schedule
3 p.m. - Welcome and Snacks
3:15 p.m. - A rapid introduction to neutrino physics
3:45 p.m. - The detectors that enable neutrino physics
4:15 p.m. - UTA neutrino laboratory tour
5 p.m. - Open projects for Ph.D. students and undergraduates
