NASA’s X-59 Quiet SuperSonic Technology aircraft is in Fort Worth for ground testing right now. And so are NASA researchers, pilots, STEM experts, and otherswho want to share the story of X-59.

The X-59 is an aircraft like no other. It will fly supersonic but *without* the sonic boom. Nobody has done that before. NASA will eventually fly it over communities in the United States to collect data about people’s responses to the sound level.

Register now at https://nari.arc.nasa.gov/x59 to engage with NASA at UT Arlington. What makes the X-59 special? What skills are needed to do a project like this? What’s being done in Fort Worth?

  • Tech talks on the X-59 and why NASA’s supersonic work is not like anyone else’s
  • Revelations on how NASA experts tackle the science of sound
  • Workforce opportunities created by potential new market
  • Opportunities for students/faculty to work with NASA
  • Student poster sessions
  • Professional development for K-12 educators
