UTA Planetarium celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing with an all-day event hosted inside and outside the planetarium. We will be having regular public shows as well as free shows covering the Apollo missions leading up to and including Apollo 11, Apollo Trivia, and more!

Additionally, guest speaker Dora Musielak, a UTA Research Professor in the Physics Department, will talk at 7 p.m. about the future NASA launch vehicles and how we will return to the Moon. She has a distinguished career in the aerospace industry and is a NASA Fellow, AIAA Associate Fellow, and many other recognitions.

Along with our inside planetarium events, we will be doing engineering crafts, rocket launches, and even some telescope time! You can find more online at:  www.uta.edu/planetarium
