The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Theatre Arts and Dance presents a staged reading of the 2018 musical, Miss You Like Hell by Quiara Alegria Hudes and Erin McKeown. The show runs for three performances in UTA’s Mainstage Theatre on November 14 at 7:30 p.m., November 15 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee performance on Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m. The show is directed by Amanda Reyes, with Assistant Director Sam Sirena Morales. 

Miss You like Hell follows a free-spirited mom and her studious estranged daughter on a road trip across the United States in a beat up truck. At the heart of the play is a family relationship that’s complicated and threatened by immigration policies.

Tickets at the door are a suggested donation of $10. All proceeds from this event will go to the University of Texas Arlington Department of Theatre Arts and Dance Student Success Fund. 

A talkback with Director of UTA’s Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS) Dr. Xavier Medina Vidal will follow the November 14 performance. All are welcome.
