The show runs for three performances in UTA’s Mainstage Theatre on November 14 at 7:30 p.m., November 15 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee performance on Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m. The show is directed by Amanda Reyes, with Assistant Director Sam Sirena Morales.
Miss You like Hell follows a free-spirited mom and her studious estranged daughter on a road trip across the United States in a beat up truck. At the heart of the play is a family relationship that’s complicated and threatened by immigration policies.
Tickets at the door are a suggested donation of $10. All proceeds from this event will go to the University of Texas Arlington Department of Theatre Arts and Dance Student Success Fund.
A talkback with Director of UTA’s Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS) Dr. Xavier Medina Vidal will follow the November 14 performance. All are welcome.
