The course will cover the history, culture, politics. media, and economics of Mexico. MAS 4350 includes a trip to Mexico City and Puebla during spring break for a full immersion experience.
The course is open to all students. The trip counts as an elective to Mexican American Studies. There will be no language requirement. The trip is a fully bilingual and bicultural experience.
There will be an Information Session about the MAS 4350 Study Abroad course on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m.
The event will be at Swift Center, 1022 UTA Boulevard in Arlington. Enter through the Summit entrance doors. The event will be on the blue route of the MavMover Shuttle.
Also, Thursday, Nov. 2, CMAS is co-hosting Global Grounds in the Palo Duro lounge from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. CMAS will be available for questions.
