Presented by the Digital Publishing Team in the Open Partnerships and Services Department of UTA Libraries, this workshop is especially important for grad students submitting their written thesis or dissertation this semester. The workshop will cover the need and rationale for accessibility standards in ETD, as well as other documents and teaching materials, etc. It will cover all requirements and the basics of implementing them in documents, including OCR scanning in Adobe Acrobat and demonstrating how that supports people with disabilities who use screen readers. The workshop will last approximately 45 minutes with time for questions.
