The Kinfolk Kickoff is a UTA welcome event focusing on first year and transfer students getting acclimated to campus. It will take place on Friday, August 15,  from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Maverick Activity Center. This high-energy celebration is your official introduction to the Maverick community — a chance to connect, explore, and feel at home. Come out for an exciting evening filled with free Maverick merch, delicious food, live DJ, and interactive activities. Explore campus resources at our resource fair, hear from student leaders during the involvement panel, and discover ways to make your mark at UTA. Whether you're starting fresh or transferring in, Kinfolk Kickoff is your opportunity to meet your fellow Mavericks, find your people, and start your college journey with a sense of pride and belonging.
