 ellow here at UTA. Mashal is a well known defender of women's rights in he
 r home country of Afghanistan. \n\nShe was a leader in the Afghan Women's 
 Network and narrowly escaped after Afghanistan fell to the Taliban in Augu
 st 2021. \n\nMashal will speak on  “Women’s Rights and Advocacy Around
  the Globe” and participate in a Q&A after the talk.\n\nThe event is fre
 e and open to the public.
