In this virtual workshop, staff members from the UTA Libraries' OER Department will give an introduction to the Pressbooks publishing platform. Pressbooks is an open-source platform based on WordPress, which is used at UTA to host the OER books published through Mavs Open Press. This workshop will cover importing content, adding and organizing chapters, and formatting text and give an overview of interactive content including H5P and Hypothes.is. 

This workshop will include hands-on practice in Pressbooks. If you don't already have a Pressbooks account, please register for the session so we can create accounts ahead of the meeting time.

This workshop is free and open to everyone. UTA CARES Innovation Grant recipients who received their awards in 2022 or later must attend this workshop before their OER goes to pilot.
