This position serves as an extension of the counseling department. There is an orientation and monthly training but the mentors use their own experience to help students pursuing college or career. Now that you have figured out how to get into college, here is your chance to help someone else do the same. The mentors also do presentations and workshops for their high school GO Centers and community outreach events. The goal is to prepare each student for college and/or a career. The mentors help the students by finding the best higher education option suited for them and then assisting with the admission process.
