Join us in the Library Mall as we break down barriers during the 2nd annual Human Library. The Human Library provides participants with a safe space to share experiences and explore stereotypes without fear of reprisal or judgment. Instead of print or electronic reserve, the books that will be available are people who have experienced prejudice because of their race, gender, age, disability, sexual preference, ethnic origin, gender identity, or lifestyle choices.

  • Break down barriers to better understanding
  • Meet individuals from backgrounds you may have otherwise not met
  • Ask questions, hear honest answers
  • A 30-minute conversation

I enjoyed talking to the speaker who shared her life story in regards to her immigrant status. I believe she is an inspirational figure to many immigrants who desire to further their education.
