Great Hearts Academies is a growing network of 45 public, open-enrollment, tuition-free schools in San Antonio (TX), Dallas/Ft. Worth (TX), Phoenix (AZ), Baton Rouge (LA) and expanding to Jacksonville & Orlando (FL) (in 2025). Great Hearts America currently provides over 25,000 K-12 students with access to a high quality, classical liberal arts education, without the barriers that often come with private prep schools. The network gladly prepares graduates for success in the best universities in the nation, but Great Hearts America's main purpose is the formation of the soul, heart, and mind. The network believes that the highest goal of education is to become good, intellectually and morally. Teaching certification is not required for general education, and Great Hearts America hired teachers from across all academic disciplines and departments.
