Join the UTA Writing Center for a workshop on Engaging and Annotating Texts! Similar to our grad workshop, this workshop examines the best practices for approaching and annotating research articles/texts. For many college courses, there’s usually an array of texts you’ll need to not only read but be able to discuss and analyze within class meetings, papers, and presentations. However, there’s not always clear guidance for how to engage with academic texts, let alone how to annotate (or note take) when reading that maximizes your time with a more effective and manageable process.
