The conference begins Wednesday, March 29, and continues through Friday, March 31, at the Hilton Arlington, 2401 E. Lamar Blvd., in Arlington.
“Our theme this year is Doctoral Education in Divisive Times: Learning from the Past to Educate for the Future,” the organization said in a statement to members on its conference website.
“We hope that the conference will serve as a forum for purposeful dialogue on how we can draw on lessons from our shared history to prepare Social Work doctoral students to be instrumental in achieving a more civil, equitable, and just society,” the statement read. “The annual conference also serves as a vital resource for doctoral program directors for networking, resource sharing, and professional development.
