We have a number of faculty across the University who are doing outstanding and widely varied work in the general area of natural disasters and factors related to relief and community resilience. Based on guidance from faculty that are looking to broaden their involvement on this topic, we will be holding a workshop on 'Natural Disasters and Community Resilience’. The forum will enable researchers doing work in this field or those interested in doing work on this topic to discuss their ideas and explore new areas in which we can foster collaborations that magnify our focus on developing tangible solutions to real-world challenges.
