About this Event
502 Yates St., Arlington, TX
##FirstGenEach November, the First Generation College Celebration is observed to commemorate the signing of the Higher Education Act (HEA) of 1965 by then-President Lyndon B. Johnson.
This act created federal financial aid programs to fund students’ education and made key investments in colleges & universities. Many of the HEA’s programs continue to promote college access, retention, & completion for today’s first-generation college students.
Stop by the EDGE Center between November 4-6 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to pick-up your #GraduateFirstGen Care Package! Supplies are limited, so don't delay!

I am also a first gen student and graduate student about to graduate. I am 100% virtual and would love to be included somehow. I would love a first gen cord as well. Is there anyway we can get one?

I received an invite. I couldn’t make it to the event because I am accelerated online . Ans haven't had time . I am so sad because I can’t go to pick up my chord during the week. Is there a way to still get it? Can it be mailed or could I pick up on a Saturday? I would appreciate a prompt response. Thanks.
