Meet other people on campus interested in Wikipedia and collaboratively create and edit an article in a casual setting.

This month, the group will be meeting in The Commons (West Campus) on Friday, February 21, from 12-2 pm.

Lunch will be provided free to all students, faculty, and staff who register in advance

*All participants should bring a laptop or tablet with them.

The UTA Wikipedia Meetup will be creating and publishing a new article on Emerson Emory, a prominent doctor from Dallas, during this meetup. One-on-one editing assistance will be provided, but the focus of the meetup will be on collaboratively creating an article, not on learning to edit. It is highly recommended that attendees who are not yet comfortable with editing Wikipedia use the LibGuide as a tutorial before the meetup.
