Join us at EpICMavs! Produced in collaboration with our partners at TechFW, EpICMavs is offered every Thursday from 4:30pm-5:30pm during the academic year. Each week features a guest speaker on an entrepreneurship-related topic and includes a discussion session where students, faculty, staff and members of the community further explore the topic and get to know each other.

Hayden Blackburn - Executive Director at TechFW
Hayden has centered his career around social entrepreneurship and economic development. Most of us imagine a dream job; as Executive Director of TechFW and Director of Cowtown Angels, Hayden is in his. He is passionate about helping people realize their dreams and creating a positive impact in the world. Hayden coaches entrepreneurs commercializing innovative technologies, facilitates connections between entrepreneurs and angel investors, partners with universities to commercialize technologies, and is a leader in the development of an entrepreneurial culture and mindset across the DFW region.
Sarah White - Operations Manager
Sarah White has served as the Operations Manager of TechFW and Cowtown Angels for the past year and a half. Sarah's highest priority is to foster a culture of excellence for the entrepreneurial community. She couldn’t resist the opportunity to engage with a successful and growing organization whose service-driven leadership helps refine the skills of community leaders and innovative entrepreneurs. She has spent her career at TechFW spearheading the Cowtown Angels investment network, piloting the first Tech Together Ecosystem event for TechFW, bringing to life the annual Impact Showcase & Awards event, assisting Eosera, Inc. in the production of the first EmpowHERment Pitch competition, facilitating the TCU Entrepreneurial Intern Scholars Program, and implementing and processes and events program-wide. Sarah currently serves as a Friends of I. M. Terrell Foundation Board member and is a Sparkyard Advisory Board member.
