About this Event
The UTA Department of Earth and Environmental Science welcomes interested students, faculty, staff and members of the public to its weekly Tech Sessions - presentations from leading researchers in EES from here and around the globe.
Hear from Northwestern's Yarrow Axford in this session. Axford studies climate and environmental change, primarily through the lens of paleolimnology (the study of lake sediments and past lake environments). Her work is aimed at understanding climate change and glacier fluctuations in Arctic and alpine environments, most recently around the margins of the Greenland Ice Sheet.
