As a Curator and Publications Manager at The Broad, Ed Schad has contributed to major exhibitions featuring artists such as Robert Therrien, Mickalene Thomas, William Kentridge, Takashi Murakami, and Shirin Neshat. His writing has appeared in leading publications including Art Review, Frieze, Flash Art, and The Brooklyn Rail, among others. In 2021, he was named a fellow at Los Angeles Institute for the Humanities, and in 2023 he published Letters Apart, a collaborative poetry project with painter Liat Yossifor.
Ed's recommended publications are on display at UTA Libraries as part of Visiting Artist Bookshelf initiative organized collaboratively by the Department of Art and History and UTA Libraries.
