CMAS Speaker Series: Benito Huerta
This presentation will examine the various creative practices of Benito Huerta over a 40 year period. The illustrated lecture will touch on personal experiences that has spurred his interest in issues of art, architecture race, society and politics. He will discuss four areas of his practice—Christmas cards; his collaboration in art and architecture with his wife, Janet Chaffee; his own personal studio practice; and his public art projects—which will address the intersection of life and art.
