To limit the spread and impact of coronavirus, all campus tours, events, and activities are cancelled through the end of the spring semester. Spring 2020 commencement ceremonies will be rescheduled at a later date to be announced. Please visit UTA's Coronavirus page for the latest information.

Citizenship Clinic

On Saturday April 13th Proyecto Inmigrante ICS, Inc. will be conducting a Citizenship Clinic on campus. Proyecto Inmigrante is a non-profit organization accredited by the U.S Department of Justice, and with the collaboration of the Department of Modern Languages will be helping U.S Permanent Residents file for U.S Citizenship free of charge! The event will take place from 9:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M in Trimble Hall room 303. Some of the requirements to apply for U.S Citizenship are the following,

Be at least 18 years old

Have been a U.S Permanent Resident (green card holder) for at least 5 years

Have a clean or nonexistent criminal background

Be able to speak and write basic English (there are some exceptions)

Have a basic knowledge of U.S History and Government

Pay the U.S.C.I.S fee of $725 to the U.S Department of Homeland Security (YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING THIS WITH YOU ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT)
