About this Event
The UTA Libraries CARES Grant is an exciting initiative to lower the cost of course materials and improve informational access to create a more equitable, sustainable learning environment. If you are a faculty member or educator with direct curricular decision-making responsibilties, we encourage you to apply for one of two CARES grant tiers: Adoption and Open Creation.
Adoption tier grants (up to $1,000) help faculty members integrate open educational resources into their already-existing courses and modify these resources as needed to fit their specific course needs. Open Creation grants (up to $7,500) help faculty members create and distribute original learning material related to their chosen course under a Creative Commons license. All awards are competitive. For more information about application requirements, please visit the UTA Libraries CARES Grant LibGuide (LINK).
