This session is for advisors and faculty.  We’ll be joined by a representative of the Boren Awards program to go over the award requirements and gain tips for identifying potential applicants and helping students to prepare a competitive application.

Boren Scholarships (for undergraduates) and Fellowships (for graduate students) provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. citizens to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
