The UTA Department of Biology presents a seminar by Jill Bargonetti, professor of biological sciences at Hunter College. She is a leader in cancer biology and much of her research focuses on how breast cancer cells evade normal cell proliferation checkpoint programs when they express high levels of mutant genes and proteins.
