Berlin Wall Interactive Art Exhibit

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, students from the German program in the Department of Modern Languages have planned a full week of events from October 30-November 8 including a screening, interactive art exhibits, and lectures.

A replica of the Berlin Wall will travel to five locations on UTA's campus from November 4-8. This interactive exhibit, accompanied by mock German border guards, will invite students to participate and learn about the wall's impact in Germany and around the world. Our student docents will encourage passersby to spray graffiti on the wall and discover its complex history.

Locations of the Exhibit:

  • November 4 - Central Library
  • November 5 - Fine Arts Courtyard
  • November 6 - ERB Park (1-2pm)
  • November 7 - Trimble Hall
  • November 8 - UC Mall
