Become an LGBTQIA+ Maverick Ally

Maverick Ally is a three hour training, offered by LGBTQA Program, that connects LGBTQIA+ students with faculty, staff, and peers. The training provides contemporary perspectives on terminology, the framework of identities, and the complexity of coming out. It also focuses on the recognizing and intervening when and where discrimination can manifest, obstacles and access to resources, and the ally journey. Maverick Ally aims to create a more affirming and inclusive campus community for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff.
