A 50 minute class designed to introduce you to the basics of yoga.  

After a few minutes of silent preparation, a spinal warm up is  completed, followed by several basic yoga postures. During this class, postures that promote balance of the left and right sides of the body will be instructed, followed with a series of poses to help strengthen the lower body.  The last 15 minutes of class will transition to a deep stretching, or yin style practice, ending with a five minute period of rest called savasana.

This class is an excellent choice if you are interested in learning about some of the basic poses and principles of yoga.
