Laura Bennett Cameron, principal bassoonist for the Dallas Winds and Associate Professor of Bassoon and Chamber Music at UT-Arlington, has established an international reputation for expressive playing, innovative collaboration and expansion of bassoon repertoire. She also performs frequently with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Ft Worth Symphony Orchestra, among other ensembles.

Dan Cavanagh is an award-winning composer and pianist, Interim Associate Dean for Academic Affairs College of Liberal Arts and Professor of Music at UT Arlington. He also serves on the Dallas Winds' Board of Trustees. Dan's compositions are performed internationally. As an accomplished jazz pianist, he has performed extensively in North America and Europe, Asia and Central/South America.
