This accessbility workshop will be presented by the Open Educational Resources and Digital Scholarship Departent at UTA Libraries and UTA's Electronic and Information Resources Accessibility Coordinator Laura Hopkins.

Join for a hands-on workshop led by Laura Hopkins, UTA’s Accessibility Coordinator, focused on making your Word documents accessible and adaptable across platforms. Developing accessible Word documents is essential for streamlining projects in Pressbooks, improving electronic theses and dissertation (ETD) submissions for graduate students, and sharing your work in a format that’s usable and inclusive for all. This two-hour session includes an hour of expert training followed by an hour of application time to practice techniques, from color contrast and alt text for images and formulas to accessible table creation, styles, and heading structures.

Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
