The 2026 English Graduate Student Association Conference is set for Friday, March 20, in the Chemistry & Physics building, conference room 303, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. With the theme as “Politics of Performance and Play”, this conference will showcase graduate research and presentations centering critical and creative explorations of the ways that performance and play operate as political practice. From papers on performing authority, belonging, and perfection, Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best Friend, the semiotic in Land of Milk and Honey, resistant and emergent D&D gameplay, and more, all are welcome to attend this thought-provoking event. Lunch is provided for all who RSVP.
