Guest Artist Recital: Dr. William Chien, saxophone

Join us for a recital with Dr. William Chien!

Saxophonist Dr. William Chien is a soloist, chamber musician and educator. He has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. He has premiered numerous new works at various international events such as World Saxophone Congress, North American Saxophone Alliance Biennial Conference, Navy International Saxophone Symposium, Denton Jazz Festival, Malaysia KK Jazz Festival, Taichung Jazz Festival and Taiwan National Recital Concert Hall. Dr. Chien holds the degree of Doctor of Music from the University of North Texas, major in saxophone performance and related field in jazz study.

The performance will be held in Irons Recital Hall, FA105, located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building.

Doors open approximately 10 minutes before the performance time.

Please be aware, no food or drink, aside from bottled water, is allowed in the recital hall.

Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, and ADA parking is available at the meters on Nedderman Drive in front of Texas Hall.
